Want to start meditating?
This is my NVC based meditation combined with a gratitude practice. The meditation takes 15 minutes, the ideal time for your brain to get all the benefits! The gratitude practice takes another 5 minutes.
Leave your comment on the meditation below! Should I make a shorter one, and if yes, what length? Want one for the evening instead?
Thanks a lot for your meditation! It has helped me to start meditating again. An evening meditation would be great! 🙏🌷
Hello Marianne, thank you for this lovely meditation. I really enjoyed it, especially the focus on being aware of my feelings and state of mind and not judging anything going on for me. I do have one suggestion: it would be helpful for me to have the background music much louder in proportion to your voice, to help block any sounds in the room. I was meditating in my living room with earphones while my daughter was walking around, making her breakfast, etc. Unfortunately, though I had the volume on your mediation turned up as loud as I could stand it, the background music was too quiet to mask the little sounds she was making. Thank you again! Loved it!
Thank you, that was beautiful and amazing. I loved the nuance of observing with breath as coming back to my body and here and now and wrapping up with gratitude as a celebration. I look forward to starting my day with this meditations. I equally would enjoy an evening one to wrap up my day with a deepening sense of presence and gratitude celebrating. Blessings Julianne
Marianne, I’ve very much enjoyed my first listen to your guided meditation although, for this time, I discontinued after about 8 minutes. I think, at 19 minutes, the length is fine (although perhaps not for new meditators). It’ll probably take me 2 or 3 more times before I meditate until the end. I really enjoyed the NVC notes you inserted. Happy New Year to you, yours and my fellow empathetics, Neil
Thank you Marianne for your posts, you are really an inspiration for me. I wish you prosperity, love and good health for the new year. Happy new year!
Michèle
Ps: a 10 min meditation in the morning works for me the best.
