Thanks for this digest Marianne. It helps me a lot to go a bit further into Rosenberg’s thinking.
I find out “the joy of feeding the duck” has been a guiding principle my all life long, for me. It is still a driving force for interacting with my team professionally. I realise I should rely more on it with my kids as well (paternalistic behaviour is so strongly imbedded in my education, that “authority” still remains natural way of placing requests / orders even among family members).
I want to cultivate NVC in our eco-intensive horticulture cooperative, so that we become better at growing plants not only in an eco-responsible manner, but also in a socio / psycho-responsible manner. Human relations can be more toxic than pesticides if we don’t handle them properly!
