Want to become Cup of Empathy’s customer care & social media manager?

Cup of Empathy wants to guide people, especially people pleasers, to stay more true to themselves, navigate conflict, and communicate in a connecting way. We aim to be inclusive (allies for those who are less privileged) and role model having healthy boundaries.

My current person is spreading her wings so I’m looking for a new person to be my partner in crime in this mission! You’ll be collaborating with me and with my co-teacher Cara Crisler.

  • Freelance based, you work from home.
  • 6-10 hours a week
  • You’ll need to be registered as an entrepeneur so you can invoice me

Tasks:

Social media & website related (about 20%), like:

  • planning social media post, sometimes designing in canva (I write content myself)
  • updating website in wordpress

Customer care related (about 70%), like:

  • taking care of participants before and after webinars
  • linking participants to a practice buddy
  • email participants when payments failed
  • answer any other incoming emails

Solving ad hoc technical problems related to systems I use, usually with the support of a help desk (10%)

Some tasks have a flexible deadline, some things will be urgent to finish on a day, but usually won’t take up more than a few minutes, rare exceptions are an hour. There is a high responsibility to the tasks and so they do require your concentration.

Profile:

  • reliable & organised
  • friendly with customers
  • clear in communication, confidence to set boundaries with people

Non-negotiables:

  • available at least 4 business days a week for a total of about 6-10 hours a week
  • room to grow to more hours
  • European or Australian time zone (as I’m in Bali/Amsterdam)

  • fluent in English (you don’t have to be a native speaker)
  • knowing NVC
  • inclusive (to queer, BIPOC etc)

Pay:

20 dollars/hour
